Love's Labour's Lost comp altered
Yesterday Magnetic Times began a new competition for readers to win a double pass to see Tropic Sun's production of Love's Labour's Lost. We wanted to see how many words you could derive from Shakespeare's title. But we really didn't figure on up to 1457 being possible so we have changed the rules.
One alert News Club reader, Pat Trewin, wrote,"I'd love to win the prize but think the competition might be open to 'unfair' tactics. I have found a scrabble word generator which lists 1457 words from the title. There may even be others with more. Perhaps I would win with that number - but perhaps there should be a fairer way to decide who should win."
With Pat's discovery in mind we have decided to limit the number of words required to just 10. We will then take all the entries and draw the winner from a hat. So if you have been busy breaking your brains trying to think up a storm of words then your labour's lost luvvies and we apologise.
To be eligible to enter our competition you need to be a member of the Magnetic Times News Club which is free and means you will receive an emailed alert containing the first paragraph of our latest news stories as they are posted. You can then decide if you wish to link back and read the whole story. To join the News Club just key your email address into the yellow slot below our section's headings in the left side column then click on "Register".
To make your entry just use the comments box at the bottom of this page and remember, deadline is 6pm on Sunday 31 August and please include your phone number so we can be sure to get the winning news to you fast.
